Yes it does, I use the same OS. You just have to download a file from Seagate to make the drive writable an Mac, because it actually come as a windows ready drive. No big deal though, I can now use it on Windows and Mac, very versatile drive.

Yes, that is the system I am now using and it works great better than the Apple one that I had
