• Nope. The PS4 doesn't support external hard drives. You can modify the PS4 in order to use this hard drive, but it is not a plug and play hard drive for the PS4 (as nothing is.) It DOES work for the PS3, and the Xbox One.

• PS4 will not let you do that. the only way you can add more space to your ps4 is open it up and replace 2.5inch hard drive. right now the most storage you can buy for ps4 is 2tb and it is about 100 including shipping.

• Yes it can be used to watch videos play music backup ps4 and now thx to ps4 update 4.50 [in beta now] you can use external for games like xbox 1 and wii u
