Please try again later.I don't use a Chromebook but Google lists what type of drives will work with the Chromebook at: https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/183093?hl=en-GB To paraphrase - Google says use an NTFS or FAT32 format and USB thumb drives or hard drives will work. I use a MAC with the Seagate drives and always reformat the drives.
