• Because this also serves as a backup system your computer will look for an OS there before getting to the computers hard drive. To correct this go into your computers BIOS and utility to move ex. hard drive to the last command instead of being in the top two.

• Assuming that you're connected to a PC and not a console, I would try booting it with the external disconnected. If it works, your problem most likely lies in your boot sequence and whatever letter your computer assigns the external.
