Yes and for the money this is the one to get. Don't buy small. There is never enough capacity just like there is never enough money no matter how much you have.

One thing I would add is if the data is important...then sooner than later back it up to an optical disc (DVD, Blu Ray, etc), or trusted cloud service. Hard Drives will eventually fail.
