• The 4.8 Gb/s is the maximum transfer rate of USB3, NOT the transfer rate of the drive. The 4TB Seagate Backup Plus Slim has a transfer rate of 120 MB/s, and the FAST has 220 MB/s, because the FAST has two drives in one enclosure and uses RAID 0 to spread your data across the two drives, making access faster.
