Yes you can back up as many as you like but I would recomend not doing cross platforms. If you are using cross platforms like Windoze and Macs, buy two drives. Format one for WINDOZE AND ONE FOR MAC. KEEP THE MAC BACKUPS ON THE MAC FORMATTED DRIVE AND THE WINDOZE BACKUPS ON THE WINDOZE FORMATTED DRIVE. I TRIED TO USE THE paragon driver from Seagate and it ran into some issues so I got a second drive and now problems should be eliminated. What happened was my Mac could not use the drive anymore because the catalog and Volume became corrupted. Luckily I saved everything before it was to late and then reformatted the drive. Avoid the problem and buy two different drives if you need to. If not, you can backup several computers to the same drive no problem. Also, always make sure to properly eject the drive. Good Luck!
