Yes, it's a real hard drive like the one that's probably in your computer. You get another drive letter for it and it acts like a regular hard drive. You can delete, copy and move files just like on your original drive.

All you have to do is let it scan and there will be a list of what it found. Once you've gotten the list, click on clean up and it will erase any unnecessary anrld temporary files. Also make sure to delete your trash. You can find these apps on Bleeping Computer. Google the website and search for cleaning and some suggestions will pop up. Good luck with your search!
