i've dropped it twice on hardwood floor from about 3 feet, still works fine. it seems relatively resistant to falls, but i'd be careful nonetheless.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I dropped it out of my hand onto the asphalt pavement, it got nicked a little but still works great! I wwouldn't recommend running it over with a truck but I think its pretty durable. I would say its highly resistant to abuse.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I dropped mine a few days ago from desk level onto a tiled floor 3 feet below. A corner of it was dented but the device still works just fine! I would rate it as have medium resistance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have drop mine from a medium distance on concrete, no problems with the drive works the same as new. A little scratch on the outside but still works.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have to say I am very surprised with the toughness of this drive to falls. I have dropped it at least three times while plugged in and operating.. It has never given me any problems at all.. each fall was approximately 1 to 2ft. - I would have to say it has a high resistance to falls but with any electronics, it only takes that one time... hope this helps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No hard enclosure is that safe from shocke... Find military grade products for that
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's a mechanical hard drive. Modern hard drives have protection against sudden jolts, but you really don't want to drop it. If you're worried about the physical environment of the drive, get a solid state drive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You take a chance of overheating the drive
