No it works the same as a flash drive
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't use Time Machine and have had no problems using it with my MacBook Pro. I've also used at school when saving my projects off their computers. Again, no issues and never used Time Machine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You shouldn't have to do that since your files are stored on the external hard drive. Once you plug it into the second laptop, the Seagate icon will appear, and you will be able to open the icon to see the files stored on the hard drive
