• I don't use Time Machine and have had no problems using it with my MacBook Pro. I've also used at school when saving my projects off their computers. Again, no issues and never used Time Machine.

• You shouldn't have to do that since your files are stored on the external hard drive. Once you plug it into the second laptop, the Seagate icon will appear, and you will be able to open the icon to see the files stored on the hard drive

• Yes, I do not use my Time Machine with a MacBook Pro laptop. I have only used it, ONLY EVER USED IT, with a MACBOOK AIR computer. Could you please verify this for me, send me an email of confirmation, so that I know this "incident" has been taken care of? Thank you so very much, because I greatly love your product!
