• I wouldn’t run games off an external drive unless it was an old game. I believe modern games use the drive a lot so the USB interface may give you problems.

• No reason why not. It is an external hard drive connected via USB 3. It will have a drive letter just like your 4TB. It comes formatted exFAT not NTFS. I reformatted mine to NTFS as I haven't had permission problems with external HDDs (e.g. WD easystores) as I have had with NTFS formatted pen drives.
