What is the RPM on this??? null

Almost certainly 5400RPM. The only 7200RPM external drives I know of are made by G-Tech and Lacie. All others use 5400 RPM, they're cheaper, quieter, run cooler, and require less power.

This unit has a 5400 RPM drive.
