• Yes. I have several desktops and 2 laptops. One of my laptops is an HP Spectre x360 Convertible, which I also have a factory reset USB thumb drive for. I used my external HDD to do a complete system backup. I have used both devices to restore/recover my internal HDD, and they both worked perfectly. I feel comfortable knowing that my data/system can be restored/recovered by me if it is ever needed again.
