• No, though Seagate makes computer HD's, I was told the Playstation drives are made for only PS4 systems.

• I am sure it would work as external usb drive for any cpu or gaming device. It might need formatting depending on the system to which it is attached. It doesnt come with backup software preinstalled to my knowledge. But theres plenty of solutions for that easily acquired.
