Yes. You can store them on it but in order to play them youd have to copy them back to the console. Which in most cases is faster then having to re-download

It will store PS5 games, but not play them. You would have to transfer it back from this drive to the internal ps5 ssd. It will store and play all ps4 games that you download via your ps5. Because it's not an SSD transfer speeds and downloads will be slower than any SSD.
