- Answer Hello Castiel, The Seagate Game Drive for XBox comes with 1 year manufacturer's warranty counted from the date of purchase, but we only exchange defective products as described in out Warranty Policy: https://www.seagate.com/support/warranty-and-replacements/limited-consumer-warranty/ For returns( refund) you need to contact the place of purchase. - Answer It is a SSD.. Solid state drive... So it has no moving parts. It is idle most of the time and basically all the time when not being used. I have one for the series x and have had it for years and it works perfectly. Just bought a second for series s. Also works perfectly. No need to worry about wearing. There is nothing spinning inside of it. Should last a good long time for you.

- Answer I assume you are asking if you can save information that is on game disk? It will store the necessary files from the disk to the drive without issues. You will be required to have a device that can read the disk and extract files to be stored.
