Yes, this one will work. Your laptop came out in 2014, so it should be a SATA hard drive. That would match the Seagate's connection type. Your other choices for hard drives are Western Digital and Hitachi. Make sure they are SATA Laptop Hard Drives. That's it. Best of luck.

You can use "System Information" in Windows to determine your model number. Once you know your model number, then you do a search on the Internet for the "Product Specification". You want to check if your system has a SATA interface. If your system has a SATA interface then you can install the Internal HDD (2.5"). SSD is much faster than HDD. SSD is better to install. SSD is the newer technology.
