Q: QuestionWould this work if I save files from my laptop and then plug this in to my TV, would I be able to view files on my TV like I’ve done in the past with a USB Flash drive?

• A:Answer The answer depends on the power-output capability of your TV. These hard-drive based units draw far more power than a flash or SSD drive, so if your TV has a standard, weak 0.5A supply for your USB port, this traditional drive might draw too much power and cause problems - but a flash "thumb" drive wouldn't. I'm not seeing a power spec on this, you'd want to find it and compare with your TV for a definitive answer. However, it's probably safe enough to just try it, since it would only be reading not writing.

• A:Answer Yes it will. You just have to take note of how big your file sizes are for the games,. Because eventually you will run out of room on the external hard drive
