“Can this SEAGATE Wireless 1TB PLUS ExHD be encrypted- Information somehow PROTECTED? I didn't see If this Wireless SEAGATE ExHD had any type of Encryption on it? Do You have to Make it so? HOW? Or is just using with a Dedicated WiFi Connection (The Device's OWN Supplied Wifi OR YOUR Own), enough "protection"? Thank You in advance for Your help.”

• The problem with encrypting it is that you would have no access to the drive through the wifi. Being that it uses a wifi signal to access. Plugging it in to your laptop would be a different story though, obviously. So i would say yes and no. No for the streaming through wifi aspect, though the wifi is sufficient enough in my opinion. Yes for plugging it into your computer.
