Hard to say. I am 200 lbs, and I was able to go 20 mph on the flat roadway, battery at 85%, app unlocked. After you enable the Speed mode, you have one more step in the app to allow it to reach the "22 MPH". According to what I have read, the 22 MPH was achieved on a flat surface with a 165LB rider....from their website: " [1]Max. Speed: tested while riding with a full battery, 75 kg (165 lbs) load on pavement. "
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to set it to Sport mode, and by the way, you can use the app to raise the max speed to 22 MPH. I'm 250 pounds, and do 22 MPH in sport mode all the time on a flat track. Make sure "S" is showing up on the display or use the App.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ok just press the button on the handle twice to choose the S mode to see the 22m in the app.. Selecting sport mode in the app doesn't work as I understand. After you see the S sign on the handle bar screen then you can go back to the app and increase the speed limit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, mine only goes 16mph as well. I'm sure there will be an update. But I'm returning mine. So slow and boring. Great build quality though.
