Hi, I had some wiring done, and when the power came back on, the bulb was lit up! I just tried it by unplugging my lamp, and when I plugged it back in, Wala, it was lit up again! I don't like this, but I don't know how to fix it.

To be fair I think this is to help you if you still want to use your actual switch sometimes. Also, this happens with all my Alexa bulbs even from different manufacturers. So I do not think other bulbs would be different. You can tell Alexa to shut all lights off and she will. That is what I did when the last storm blew out my power and I did not want to tell Alexa to turn each light off individually when it returned. These are good bulbs but Alexa only is a downside.
