This can be paired with the echo dot. You get use it with alexa. Just follow the instructions in the box.:)

All you need to do is download the bulb app (it should tell you the specific app to get from the set up instructions) and set it up, then go to your Alexa app, and on device go to bulb and once you have the bulb lit it should connect to your Alexa. Using the echo dot you can control the bulb however you want.
