I am a guitarist, so I have to assume you are talking about a guitar amp(?). As you may know, you can easily purchase an adapter (a few dollars) for a quarter-inch output jack that your amp would have. I bought my Senheisers years ago, and back then the package did not include the adapters, but maybe they do now. Though I doubt it, as you would probably see them in the product photos. But either way, be careful running a high-impedance signal from an amp through these!! You'll blow them! ....not to mention your ears.
