• A:Answer 1/8 " = 3.5 mm These are the inch and metric sizes for the same plug. I do not have a u8500 but if its headphone jack is listed as 3.5 mm it will fit. 3.5 cm is 1-3/8" so it is likely your jack is actually 3.5 MM.

Q: QuestionCan I purchase spares of all cables & power supply unit (all but the headphones and transmitter)Our TV is hard to access. If we have an extra set of cords/power plug, we can simply disconnect the transmitter where it sits and take the unit with us when we travel.

The Sennheiser RS160 can be used with an IPhone 4, HOWEVER the base would need to be plugged into the phone (audio source) so it would not be an ideal solution. I would recommend one of Sennheiser's Bluetooth Wireless headphones or corded headphones. You can check out other solutions on our website at www.sennheiserusa.com

• A:Answer Hello- Out of the box, the RS 160 can connect to any 1/8" (aka 3.5mm) headphone jack. If you would like to connect it to a digital audio output, please consider one of Best Buy's offerings for a digital to analog audio converter, and you may also need an adapter to convert the 1/8" plug into a dual RCA array. Please see the attached video for more detail on RS 160.
