So some troubleshooting that I would recommend is unplugging the headset and finding the driver on your desktop and uninstalling it then plugging the headset back in. If this does not work try looking online for other tricks that may help. If nothing works then you might have recieved a faulty device. If that is the case I would highly recommend giving Sennheiser another shot as their quality control is top notch and products are well worth the buy
