Thank you for your question. I am not familiar with the specifications of the N-Tune, but the HD429S is one of our most popular SKU's at Best Buy. I used to use Sony pro headphone exclusively for many years, but when I tried a pair of Sennheiser HD 380 Pro's I was blown away by their detail and low end response . Also, the ear cups are larger on the Sennheiser's which not only helps seal out ambient noise, but is much more comfortable than the Sony's during long studio use. Have switched all my studio headsets to the Sennheiser.
