• They were on sale earlier. Sales and discounts only last a limited time from the manufacturer. Quite a few of the upper end headphones like Beats were also on sale earlier in the year. After the holiday season sales were slow. Manufacturers wanted to push sales, therefore the incentives. Right now appliances are on sale.
