QuestionI have the Sennheiser RS 175 headset and when they are connected to my 55" LG Smart TV you cannot listen on the headset and play out of the tv speakers at the same time. Is there a way to connect these so they will work?

- Answer I've connected them using an optical splitter as I am running multiple outputs. This works on Samsung TV's and I believe if you use the optical out connection, it will work with your LG. Check the settings on screen and select to use both internal speaker and the optical out.

QuestionWill these headphones automatically power on when you remove them from the base? I'm replacing a set that we currently have for my 90+ father and automatic power up and sync is very important to us as he isn't able to use any controls on the headphones.

- Answer No, they must be turned off and on from the head phone and doesn't turn one automatically.

- Answer I checked the specs and I see the Marantz Amplifier has fiber optic output for a cable. I do not have the Marantz, but I can say it works well with my Samsung SMART TV. However, even though my SONY 4K player is attached via an HDMI cable, it will not play the audio through it, it just has a buzzing noise similar to reverb; this also happens on certain Internet sites. It will not play the audio, but buzz annoyingly. Despite this one drawback, once it is fully charged, it has excellent sound and tone. The bass is good and treble is very good.

- Answer Misty you would have to move the base unit. I just keep a optical cable hooked to each device i use it on. Makes it pretty easy to move

QuestionI am intersted in the operation with a receiver. Can it transmit a signal out of the earphone jack from my receiver. and if so will have all of the functions listed ? Almost all of my loud playing is done through my receiver. Will I have SURR. SND.?

- Answer Yes you can connect through your receiver if you have the appropriate/open jacks. You will get all the benefits of optimal receiver sound and e headphones also have a Surround Sound control function.

- Answer I wear over the ear hearing aids and have an occasional problem that I can fix by moving the right earpiece. My hearing aids have never been a great fit but I can adjust for that. I would recommend this model.

Question. Currently, own a Sennheiser Earphone set that was jacked into our old Samsung 46". I had to replace it. Just purchased a 50" QLED with Optical Output to an LG Soundbar. That has Bluetooth. Can any Sennheiser use Bluetooth?

- Answer You cannot connect with Bluetooth. You must have an optical splitter in order to connect to the optical input of the base with a separate optical cable. Then the audio output of the TV must be set to PCM mode and it will work perfectly!

QuestionI have had these headphones for about 5 months and they worked perfectly but now they are cutting out all the time. I replaced the batteries with rechargeable batteries and let them fully charge on the stand, but the sound is still cutting out. Any ideas?
