Will this control a DirectTV box? null

Hi, We confirm that Smart Remote can control DirectTV box via infrared.

Only via IR, so it must be in the same room with the DirecTV box. Not speaking here for every DirecTV box - but it will control an HR44 if the remote has line-of-sight to it. No hub or IR repeater comes with it, so if your DirecTV box is in another room you'll either have to set something like that up yourself.
