“Started using the the Shark 3in1 Max yesterday and noticed a plastic smell in each mode, particularly on the heat setting. How long will it take for this smell to stop happening? If I keep getting the smell after ten days, should I return the product?”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Is it possible that you haven’t taken the plastic off of the filter when you purchased it? You will need to open the back of the unit to access the filter. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Please try again later.The smell is from when you use as a air purifier it says on filter so when you turn to heat it burns those particals off same as heat strips on a furnace. Hope this helps and if you see alittle smoke at first dont panic it goes away in a few seconds
