• We have hardwood floor, never seen any scratching. The roller is soft.

• i have newly installed hardwood. i have zero problems with this on my floors. it also transitions very easily from room to room and also onto my rugs from the wood floor.

• It does not scratch the floor but it also leaves awful streaks from the solution and the tires.
