I never turned mine off. But when I moved it to a new location. Plugged it on and it came right on. Sorry that happened to you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve had my unit since the end of October and haven’t turned off once with no issues.

I had the same issue; unplugged to move it - wouldn’t turn back on. When plugged in, but not running the ON/OFF LED should ALWAYS be visible. If you do not see the POWER button, the easiest fix is to use the remote. If the remote turns the unit on, the LED behind the power button has gone out, but the unit will continue to work. All other LEDs will illuminate normally once the unit is turned on… only the power LED will be invisible. You will need to use the remote from now on OR learn where the now unlit power button is on the unit. To locate the power button, if you have powered the unit on using the remote, tap below the fan down arrow and to the left of the AIR INFO LED. If you don’t have the remote and are turning it on blindly, tap around on the top of the unit to the left of middle about 1-1/2 to 2” back from the front edge. The power button is in approximately the 7 o’clock position of the display (see pics below as reference for where to tap). Once you find the exact spot, it helps if you mark it with some white out or a piece of blue tape, etc.
