“What kind of filters do i need? Are either of the filters inside the Shark Air Purifier 6 washable or do they need to be replaced? How often for cleaning or replacing?”

They have to be replaced for sure.

When the filter needs to be changed, the FILTER LIFE button will flash. The filter for the Air Purifier are available for purchase by reaching out to our Customer Care Team at 1-877-581-7375 Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 9:00 pm EST, as well as Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm EST.
