• Works without scratching the floors and you don't have to do anything just use the lower speed

• I primarily use mine on beautiful hardwood floors and it does a great job with no adjustments.

• Hello, We would like to inform you that this vacuum works great on most flooring types. While vacuuming, you can switch the vacuum to Hard Floor mode. This will cause the brushrolls to spin lower. With this being said, we recommend contacting the manufacturer of the flooring to verify compatibility. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team
