QuestionThis model has a self-cleaning brushroll. Does this mean that hair will not wrap around the brushroll?

- Answer Yes. The self cleaning roller will not allow string or hair to wrap around the roller. This vacuum cleaner is powerful and lightweight. I always had a concern about the electrical cord when you wind it up for storage that the cord would become weak. This one has a different way to store it that the cord will stay strong and last. This is my favorite vacuum cleaner i have ever owned.

With this being said, the floor nozzle has a removable lid to give you easy access to the main brushroll. The soft brushroll is removable. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team

- Answer No, it will not vacuum a shag run. But it does do well going from hard surfaces to a low pile throw rug. I love how light this vacuum is.

QuestionWhat is the weight of just the canister? I saw the weight of the whole vacuum is 9 pounds just curious about when you take the canister off. What does that weigh?

- Answer The canister is pretty heavy. The next heaviest part is the floor attachment. I would say the canister is about 5 pounds.

QuestionCan you use the extension on any of the attachments? So, I would like to be able to use the upholstery brush on a longer attachment as the vacuum unit itself gets in the way.

- Answer Yes. There are two settings, one for floors and one for carpets. The brush still rolls for both settings, but just enough to pick up the little things without shooting them out the back or sucking up an area rug.

- Answer You can but you literally have to take the whole vacuum apart. It's normal for the belt to break on big vac but I've owned several stick vacs and the belt is practically invincible.
