• With the lift away canister on, a limited distance under furniture can be achieved. However, if you take the lift away part off, the mechanical limitations are reduced and a lot more area under furniture can be reached.

• The canister portion will have to be removed , then yes it can on my bed anyway. I do have a paul bunyan bed 35 years old queen size and 6" off the carpet.
