You may have to clean the same area several times, along with changing out clean mop heads. It seems to peel away the gunk layer by layer. I had to on my entryway.

It will still sanitize your floors but you're going to be changing the pads more to get through all of the dirt and it may make it streaky trying to cut the dirt
