A:AnswerThe pads are rectangular and they slip on over the steamer base. The ends of the pad that you use to slip on have secure corner edges and the final secure system is strong velcro. They have worked great as I use mine often and wash pad after each use.

A:AnswerHi Glenda, great question. We recently bought this for the steam cleaning function which works great, unfortunately there is no drying option. We purchased hours from Best Buy we use the deal of the day which means we ended up paying about half price. If you're paying full price it may be worth it to pay a little extra and get one of the models that does include the drawing function. Hope this helps!
