• We've washed ours in the laundry machine a few times now and it works great. We haven't thrown it in the dryer though, just drip-dryed

• Yes, I wash them in the washing machine and it works quite well. Just don't use any fabric softener or dryer sheets in the dryer. As for the dryer, I don't know if they'll shrink or not, but I dry them on low just in case.
