“Is the bag inside washable? I empty it each time but the bag is really dirty. Seems like it would diminish the suction.”

• Hello, We would like to inform you that the filter inside the dust cup for the Shark® Bagless Cordless Hand Vac is washable. To wash the filter, rinse with water only. Allow the filter to air-dry completely for at least 24 hours before putting it back in the vacuum. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team

• The vacuum is bagless. The filter is washable and the directions recommend that you wash it regularly. I keep an extra filter and alternate them so I always have a clean dry filter.
