No there is a turn on and off switch.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.no, it does not — i can’t stand those types! your arm turns to concrete before you’re halfway done — but this vacuum does have an optional trigger to pull for additional suction power as needed. the vacuum at its normal strength does well — and the extra boost for troublesome spots makes it that much better — but i’d have to say the best perk about how this vacuum works, in my opinion, is that the maximum suction option is controlled by a trigger! instead of needing to switch modes to increase power, then switching back to preserve battery — using buttons or settings, etc. — the transition is seamless and instant both ways with this vacuum, from workhorse to stronger workhorse and back with the squeeze or release of a finger. it’s merely effortless and, most importantly, functions at its best without disturbing your flow.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We would like to let you know that this vacuum does not have a trigger that needs to be held down. You just need to turn on the unit with a push of a button.
