Manual instructs to wash and dry face before use. So I have conveniently worked into my morning schedule. Once face is clean and after your 8 min treatment which by the way the mask sits in front of your face about 1 inch, the only part that actually touches is the cooling part which sits on your cheekbones. When treatment is complete you wipe down with a damp cloth.
