Please try again later.When you purchase it, it is 5 year warranty, when you register the product online or call to register your product you get 2 more years, all total 7 year warranty from Shark. It starts when you purchase your warrantyI believe, it has been a couple of years since I have purchased a warranty with Best Buy and have a warranty with the product I purchased. Back toot came with warranty from the company and I purchased and additional warranty from Best Buy and It started from the time I purchased the warranty from Best Buy alone with the company warranty.
