“Will this work on carpeted stairs? Or can someone recommend a product that isn't handheld on ones knees doing each step?”

The HydroVac is not ideal for carpeted stairs, as it’s designed mainly for hard floors and area rugs. For easier stair cleaning without kneeling, consider a lightweight stick vacuum or a canister vacuum with a long hose and stair tool.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Stairs aren’t wide enough for this to navigate. I bought the shark stain striker the full size standup model. With the flip of the switch, the hose is already connected and you can turn it on and off. I highly recommend it. I’ve had no complaints with it yet
