Does it vacuum over black carpet? null

We would like to let you know that the Shark ION Robot has cliff sensors that prevent it from going over stairs or somewhere it shouldn't. Sometimes, they are triggered by especially dark floor or dark and thick carpets. You can try cleaning off the four cliff sensors with a dry cloth, but it is possible your robot will not clean this area of your house.

It gets stuck vacuuming black carpet as if it doesn't know it's way off. The carpet ends up being pretty clean by the time it figures out how to get off of it

I get what you are asking and I have not figure out how to get it to vacuum my black rug. It does fine everywhere else, but its cliff sensors stop it when it gets to my black rug. Aggravating.

Yes it does vacuum over black carpets, however the suction won't be as strong as a regular vacuum. Great for crumbs, dust and dirt, but not for heavy cleaning.

I don't have black carpet but beige and it does a great job on it.

I don’t have black carpet , however it has had no issues vacuuming over my oriental rugs ,
