A:AnswerThe manual you can take apart the top areas for the fllters, cleaning however, no where do I see Shark showing disassy of the floor rotating brush housing.
After looking at the unit, there are 4 screws on the bottom of the housing. This is plenty of room to cut grab and remove the stringy stuff that the brush collects over time.
A:AnswerDetach the hose on the motorized floor brush at the top by squeezing the tabs together and pulling out, and at the bottom by pulling out the connector. This will allow access for unclogging debris in the brush. If you need to actually remove the brush, this requires more complex maintenance procedures which are not intended for the user to do.
A:AnswerI purchased a Shark Navigator and was advised the serial number is the four digit number engraved on the prong of the plug. I could not register through the website because it rejected the "serial number." So, emailed Shark Customer Service directly requesting registration help. [email protected]

A:AnswerI have the same issue. It does not work on my carpet. The box says Do not return to the store! Call Us. We are here to help with our hassle-free return service. I called the service department and they will not allow me to return the product because it works and they do not sell that product directly from Shark. I cannot return it to the store because they say that it must be returned to Shark. Now I'm stuck with a vacuum I can't use. Customer service is a joke! The worst experience I have ever had! How can they sell a vacuum that doesn't work on all carpets! This information is not included in any of their documentation that I can find. Does anyone else have this situation. I would like to get a count and see what our repercussions might be.
