A:AnswerTry cleaning the roller if there is anything caught. Most likely a bad sensor that turns it on/off, but good luck dealing with customer service. They hung-up on me once, and the second time they told me the handle that broke is not covered and I would have to pay for a replacement part.

Simply turn off the power, unplug the vacuum, remove the obstruction, and then return to vacuuming.
