No, the battery has been out of stock for months on the Shark website. They would rather use the batteries they can get from their suppliers in order to sell you the whole $300 to $500 vacuum. The fact is, you only get ten or fifteen minutes of run time with these cordless vacs. Without a second vacuum to pop in, you have to wait several hours for it to charge. There should be a class action suit brought for false advertising since they claim you ban buy additional batteries.
