• The Shark PowerDetect Cordless Stick Vacuum charges exclusively through the docking station and does not support direct charging via a power cord. The model without the docking station includes a power cord for direct charging, but this version relies on the dock for recharging.

• Since non of these answers mention it…The kit does not come with a a/c wall charger only the dock. There is a barrel plug on the side of the battery so you would have to buy that wall charger separately if you don’t want to be stuck using the docking station.
