Refurbished can mean a myriad of issues could have potentially been fixed, or in many cases, nothing was fixed because there was nothing wrong. Because of liberal consumer return policies at retailers, many products without defect are returned for many different reasons. Regarldess of the reason, many returned items go through the same process. Every unit will go through a rigorous testing and cleaning process whether it looks used or not. In the end, you will get a fully functioning unit that is warrantied. Your unit may be something that was never used, or it could have been a used product that had some type of issue that was fixed and returned to normal working order.
